From pioneering soil health solutions to becoming one of Ghana’s leading agricultural inputs and services providers, we continue to support sustainable farming with innovative products and services.
With a dedicated core team in Accra and support from our London-based office, Demeter Ghana continues to bridge international expertise with local agricultural needs, fostering growth in West Africa’s farming sector.
Demeter Ghana launched to address major agricultural challenges in Ghana, especially soil acidity, fertility loss, and low yields.
Introduced Calciprill to correct soil acidity. Trials showed dramatic yield improvements across the country.
Selected for national fertiliser programme, reaching farmers at scale with NPK supplies.
Calciprill approved by COCOBOD. Partnered with Bakker Brothers to offer vegetable seeds.
Secured exclusive Polysulphate distribution. Imported 30,000+ tons of fertiliser and began Cocoa Research trials.
Launched Rizoliq Soybean, boosting soybean yields up to 48%, a major leap for Ghanaian farmers.
Launched OMEX liquid fertiliser, started DGL Farm Fresh vegetable farming in Kasoa, Accra and entered Côte d’Ivoire.
Introduced high-yield BM270 hybrid maize. Bamboo Capital investment supports national farmer initiatives.
